Our destination was Litchfield, IL for the relighting ceremony of the Vic Suhling Gas For Less sign located in front of the Litchfield Route 66 Welcome Center and Museum. The sign had been dark for 40 years. It was a bit windy but the sky was a beautiful blue with a few white clouds.
